The Pearl comes into the life of Kino and his family which makes a lot of changes	They have a lot of bad luck and it causes death, destruction, and devastation

The Main Character

Kino	Honest	Kino is an Indian man that has a wife, a brother, a sister in law, and one son. He is young and strong, has black hair, dark skin, warm and fiery eyes and his mustache is meager and rough.	Kino is the main character in the story.
Juana	Lovely	Juana was the wife of Kino and mother of Coyotito. She is a very strong woman and believes in her husband. She has long black hair and forming two braids, brown skin, cheerful, brave, intelligent, obedient, respectful, etc.	Juana is a very important character because she always supports her husband.
Coyotito	Quiet	Coyotito is the first son of Kino and Juana. He is small, he knows not yet speak. Also hair and dark skin.	Coyotito is the innocent one in the story because he is just a baby and he doesn't know anything or what is going on.
Juan Tomas	Friendly	Juan Tomas is Kino’s brothers. It’s A little older than Kino, strong, black hair and dark skin. It's someone that help in difficult times and make decision.	He is not a main character but he is still kind of an important character in the story. He loves his family especially Kino because he needs guidance in life.
Apolonia	Sympathetic	Apolonia id Juan’s wife. She has long black hair, brown skin, something fat and she is big-headed, obedient and sympathetic.	She is rarely in the story but there is one part where she pretends to mourn for Kino and his family to make the villagers believe that Kino's family is dead.
Doctor	Cruel	Doctor is the person who attended Kino's son. He isn’t very young, eye bags, fat, his voice hoarse because of the fat that oppressed his throat. He is ignorant, cruel, deceitful, ambitious, selfish, racist, exploited and dehumanized.	The doctor was also a minor character that was just plain fat and very cruel to the Indian/Mexican people which would get him in trouble during the present day.
Businessman	Selfish	Businessman are very bad people working buy pearls for the minimum value and selling them for a lot, so cheating fishermen who sell pearls like Kino. They are cruel, selfish, avaricious, liar and swindler.	They planned out their prices together so they can all cheat the villagers buy selling the pearls for a cheaper value than it ought to be. The Pearl Buyer's also have the greed for riches and cheated Kino so it made him very angry. You see that is why the Pearl Buyer's can make a big profit for themselves. They lie and cheat just to get the lowest price from you.
